The characters are comparable. Replicant just had them be more direct about their feelings, so autists connect with them more easily.

It had fantastic direction if nothing else. The fight with Jack is masterful.

As soon as I beat Automata and compared the two. The Replicant remaster is only going to make that gap more apparent to the normalfag Automata crowd.

For some reason, I got bored of Automata's gameplay much faster than I did with Gestalt's. I don't know what it is about Automata, but I just couldn't get into it. Story and character-wise, I think it's Yoko Taro's weakest game in the series.
