Should I finish the atlas path quests before settling down on a base?

You can if you want. Your base won't be deleted or lost so long as you have a base computer down.

You can always make a new base, don't get to attached, make smaller bases when needed for the main quest and settle when you find a really awesome planet/system that you like.

Tech? Buildings? I got everything unlocked from Space Anomaly and about to get Living Ship.

Go to the nexus anomaly, and do the missions that give quicksilver. You're going to be grinding for a while though, because you get one mission per week as well as the weekend community missions.

Damn that sucks. I've done pretty much everything else in the game so I guess all I can do is login and check the nexus for quests then.

I fail to see how this is an unlimited nanites exploit if you have to spend pugneum to do it. Sounds like the developers put that there so that you could do trade useless pugneum for valuable nanites.

No, they just wanted to keep making the game they wanted to make, and probably try to salvage some of the company's reputation. They got so much fucking money from preorders and launch sales, they were able to keep working, and then got a fuck ton more sales with the huge update and release on Xbox.

Your attempt at being stuck up aside, it's a glitch because reloading the save causes vendors to restock as if you never bought anything. Thus, you can keep buying pugneum and selling modules for nanites. Likewise, modules sold by scrap dealers were literally added with Origins, so you couldn't do this before the update.
