If you say so. I go from my past experiences. Went through two xbox controllers due to microusb disconnecting from the board because it's a small ass strip holding it together. Soldering it will be temporary and it'll do it again usually or just still not work at all. Just look it up, sweetheart.
Then it's only good for batteries which who the fuck uses batteries in a controller in 2020. Usb-c should be the standard as well by now.

Microusb port is much more durable in a ps4. Have dropped the fucker countless times with no issue and the worst that's happened to it was the left bumper came halfway off and just popped right back into place.

USB-C wasn't the gold standard back in 2013, and as it doesn't charge through the USB port there's no need to ever plug it in.
AA slots are better than DS4's internal battery

I noticed this too. I use an older Xbone controller for PC games and the port barely holds the cable in and since it’s the old model I can’t Bluetooth it.

My PS4 controllers I’ve had since launch have zero issues with the port but fuck me their battery barely lasts. Never did
