Genuine question. Why are people calling Microsoft "anti-consumer" for wanting the games of the companies they have bought to be exclusive to their systems?
Isn't this what Sony/Nintendo has been doing for all these years?
Genuine question...

Sony = Good
MS = Bad
This is the narrative that journalists and the MSM will run with
Remember when all consoles have good exclusives and you would miss out on something no matter what you choose?
There are barely any exclusives anymore but for the oldfags this isn't new.
It's just a question, jeez
sony r evil in every industry they own, michael jackson was an xbox fan and they killed him
Pure spite
>exclusive
Proprietary software is explicitly anti consumer as it hurts the end user experience and only profits the corporation
Is this bait?
So why don't people criticize Nintendo and Sony for exactly the same thing?
People do, literally all the fucking time.
I don't think so.
I don't see people from PS asking Sony for the new Spider-Man to be on other platforms, the same with nintendo.
>moron thinks saber came from an anime
can't speak for anyone else but I do
Well, that's good, I think the same. But I also think that all companies should be judged the same way.
They aren't anti-consumer, it's just the coping of Snoys who are angry that both Xbox and PC will get quality (assuming the studios don't fuck it up.) games that will never come to their system
>all companies should be judged the same way
So much this, the same standards applying to everyone just makes sense. That's why they are called "standards" in the first place.
Yeah, I would really like to be able to buy and play the great Nintendo games of this gen (in my opinion) like BOTW or Mario Odyssey without being forced to buy a overpriced and underpowered console like the N.Switch.
bump
Wait people are calling Microsoft out on this but not Sony? Microsoft is definitely better about releasing their games on multiple platforms than Sony is.
hypocrisy
FGO is a game though senpai
They do constantly. Like with Bloodborne on Sony's side and Bayonetta 2 on Nintendo's side.
Everything would be better without exclusives
>If something that was available for everyone is now only available for a select few why is this considered anti-most people?
Are Xbox droids really this retarded?
>available for everyone
Huh, user...
paid exclusives has always been an anti-consumer practice
they're investing a lot into it, so that's a lot of anti-consumer acts
just like sony
what did they acquire?
I have google too.
Anything in particular that stands out to you, or are you just being petulant?
Insomniac Games.
