Who changed the industry more?
Nicholas Thomas
Dylan Phillips
Daniel Wright
Literally neither changed the industry?
Brandon Green
neither changed the industry. bethesda and bioware already did both of these years earlier, these are just different spins on the same shit
Nathan Thomas
Neither changed the industry, Zelda is the 2nd most iconic franchise in gaming history though so probably that
Mason Garcia
>people claim these games are amazing
>can't go 5 seconds in a discussion thread without coomers
Joshua Miller
neither
Brody Flores
Both contributed to making Assassin's Creed more tedious than it already was.
Sebastian Rodriguez
LOL what did botw change?
Adrian Kelly
What did botw do for assassins creed
Luis Flores
Neither of them changed the industry, all the witcher did was shit on other collectathons.
Austin Roberts
Neither. The biggest industry changers of the 2010s were minecraft and fortnite.
Isaac Richardson
We don't know, no open world game came out after them besides RDR2
Lucas Howard
Ubishit is desperately trying to make their games like the witcher 3
Mason Gray
Cannon Spike for Dreamcast by Capcom and Psikyo because it was fucking dope
Owen Martinez
Neither of them changed anything
Landon Jenkins
Yeah look at all the minecraft and fortnite clones oh wait there aren't any and fortnite is already the clone.
Jace Gonzalez
Neither but if I need to choose then Zelda, future open world games should take note on how it implemented the physic and interactable world
Cameron Reed
Witcher 3 was the last western game with hot females.
Brandon Barnes
The quality of Zelda games for the worse.
Logan Cox
As much as it hurts to say, this user's right. As far as influence is concerned both Minecraft and Fortnite are the biggest names I can think of. I'd put PUBG in the list too, but I don't know (or care to look up) which came first between that and Fortnite. Still most influential games of all time are Mario 64 and OOT.
Ethan Williams
considering both of those games were open world because of skyrim I'd have to say skyrim
Ethan James
You can make an argument that every game is a clone of something. Doesn't change the fact that fortnite had far more influence than the games that inspired it.
Carson Phillips
Botw is trendchasing: the game, so TW3
Aiden Green
neither
Daniel Hill
>father?
Colton Hughes
retards, see
Logan Green
Probably Witcher since it came first and has had more time to have an impact
Also worth considering the fact that Witcher probably had at least some level of influence on BotW anyway
Wyatt Nelson
Kill yourself, ACfag
Cooper Thomas
witcher success turned assassins creed into a rpg
botw success made ubi make a look a like game
that's it.
They had no further effect on gaming whatsoever.
The real "changers" were fortnites battle pass system and destiny kickstarting games as a service
Ian Martinez
TW3 since it produced actual clones (See: modern Assassains Creed) I've not seen a botw-like game apart from the shitty Chinese knockoffs
Michael Wilson
Arguably BotW, due to the fact that despite its questionable quality compared to Witcher, BotW seems to be getting more and more games trying to be like it? Like genshin impact is just BotW but with micro transactions and a better combat system
Jack Price
why aren't you playing video games right now, Doug?
Ian Sullivan
arguably did even the witcher 3 bring anything to the open world formula ? it was just more of the same, i would say its a skyrim with a better combat system. meanwhile BOTW had some pretty fun to play with physics, that made the world feel so much more alive, suddently its less of a chore to walk around and try to find stuff
Mason Sullivan
chinese copy anything, the ubisoft gods and monsters game is the only real copy of botw
