99% of PS5/SereisX games are cross gen, they need to run on consoles with laptop-tier CPUs from 2013.
But I'm sure when actual next gen games come out two years from now consoles will have killed PC, just like the PS4 killed PC by running games at 1080p 60fps at launch, and the PS2 killed PC by being so powerful it was banned from being exporting the to Iraq because Saddam was going to buy a bunch of PS2s and turn them into a supercomputer that could launch missiles.
Only thing is the SSD and I'm waiting for PCIe 5.0 mobos to come out. The standard has already been ratified last year.

My old gaming laptop has an nvidia 1080 (desktop version and power supply - makes for a bulky ass charger), 32 gigs of 3200 mhz ram, an i7 8700k processor and a 970 evo ssd. Only half a terabyte but the backup sata drive can keep pace with most anything else. Still feeling okay about it. Heavier than the new xbox I guess but meh
