amd's next gen graphics cards just got leaked. the identical spec desktop gpu to the ps5 runs at 2.5ghz. that's insanely high and will be pushing out mountains of heat. that's why they made this so big. it needs the airflow. they don't want customers asking suing because their ps5's broke down in 3 years because the gpu fried itself over time.

Because the past couple generations Sony has went into form over function, the PS5 is the amalgamation of that trend. They need to make their console look like what they think is sleek, advanced, and futuristic that they fucked up everything else, from the cooling to the hardware. That's why the Series X had an immediate advantage, it's basically just a mini PC case.
