Wait, he's got a dremel and multimeters, but not a security torx driver?

Can't expect much from a man with an 8-bit brain who has fucked up equipment almost exactly the same way twice.

The fuck is this nigga trying to do?

stripped the screws on a switch.
Broke the dpad thing on my psp replacing a screen.
that's about it.

decided to clean my ps3 a while back, ended up snapping the power supply connector clean off the board when i took the top part of the system apart

Was he try to cut the screw with the dremel?

why not dremeling the top of the bolt to make a screwdriver slot?

>Goes to hardware store for fuse
>Too lazy to buy torx screwdriver set

Who is this?

I opened my dualshock 2 to try to fix the pcb traces which oxidized. couldnt get it closed again.

He's being cancelled even as we speak.

lol what the fuck did he do?

>retarded youtuber gets his hands on one out of five known units of a prototype IBM computer
>it doesn't work, so he tries fixing it
>computer can't be switched on without the monitor plugged in (power switch is on the side of the monitor)
>he shorts two pins on the power connector going to the monitor to get around this, unsurpisingly the power supply blows up
>power supply is held together with security torx screws
>he "doesn't want to wait for the right tool to arrive", and takes a dremel to the power supply case of a very rare computer so he can remove the screws with pliers
>after damaging the power supply case, he replaces the fuse he blew with an incorrect one
>the computer still isn't working, what a surprise

>touching a piece of metal that was connected to electrical shit like that
uhhh I'm no expert but that doesn't seem like a great idea

And to answer the question, I put the n64's expansion pack in backwards when I had it disassembled once. Thats the extent of my fuck ups.

Jesus fuck I knew this guy was a retard

Not repair but when I was a kid, I wanted to make a cool lego shell around my Wii and accidentally stuck a piece in the CD slot. Wii wouldn't turn on and CD wouldn't eject. Didn't fix it til years later cus I knew I would've fucked my Wii even more as a dumb child.

I put my xbox 360 in the oven. it didnt make it work, but it did make it taste deliscious

So, he just connected the clip to a random pin?

Same but for the Nintendo SHITcube instead

I tried replacing the broken audio jack on my laptop despite not knowing what I was doing and wound up ripping some essential piece off the motherboard or whatever making the jack unfixable. Then a month later I got drunk and knocked a drink onto it and killed it for good.

just a reminder that this guy is dimebag darrell's cousin, he carries, and probably fucks his autistic nerd daughter

i've fucked up trying to fix a 3ds xl, but thankfully im not the only one who has been bested by that shitty metal hoop that nintendo calls a hinge

>after damaging the power supply case, he replaces the fuse he blew with an incorrect one
>the computer still isn't working, what a surprise
Wouldn't an incorrect fuse not really matter in getting the PC booted up unless it was rated much lower and also blew up immediately?

Snapped plastic retainers. That's pretty much all of it (aside from always ending up with fewer screws than the initial amount).
Watched the 8bit guy video some hours ago. I just can't imagine what can drive someone to paperclip a connector that clearly has mains color coding in it...

>I just can't imagine what can drive someone to paperclip a connector that clearly has mains color coding in it...
knowing fuck all about anything.
He probably only knows as much as google tells him.

In middle school I was covertly playing Wipeout on my brand new PSP hidden under my desk during reading period and the teacher caught me and confiscated it for the day. When I got it back after school I noticed a tiny scratch on the screen and later tried to fix it using car wax which I heard works. I ended up fucking up the internals somehow doing this and ended up returning it for a new one thankfully.

I took my 360 apart many, many times trying to fix the RROD. It would work on and off for several days and weeks but eventually nothing would bring it back. I don't blame myself though. I shouldn't have had to take the thing apart in the first place if Microsoft hadn't made a console that cooked itself.

yep. too low, and the fuse immediately blows. too high is fine, unless you want the fuse to actually protect the system.
