I just gave in and bought an Xbone controller for my PC.
Holy shit i wish i'd done this sooner, it's so much nicer than the PS4 and Switch Pro controllers.

Get a steam controller, buy some pads for the mouse pads and get yourself a finger glove for precise mouse movement.
steam controller for desktop browsing while chilling or playing rts or turn based and xbone controller for anything else w/ a controller is top tier setup
just picked up this badboy at microcenter
I wasnt expecting it to be so much nicer than the 360 controller
kys, you been filtered by the steam glory controller.
the triggers on dualshock3+4 controllers are so fucking awful.
I like the triggers from switch pro controller. Very snappy. Not good for shooters though
I tried the steam controller, but I found the right pad was too close to the face buttons so my huge thumb kept hitting it whenever I wanted to press B or Y.
It's definitely nice but I've struggled to get bluetooth to work for some reason
You should've waited 2 months and get yourself an Xbox Series X controller
Yeah, right
Why do you lie on an anonymous indonesian carpet weaving forum?
Not a lie, got it when it was on clearance for like $15 and gave it a shot. The edge of the right pad is like right against those two buttons.
Change your input to pad click or double tap so you never have to move your thumb. Set haptics to high for the feedback.
Here, if anyone wants to know more about the wonders of the steam controller, watch this guys videos.

What's a good controller that doesn't have fuckhuge travel on the face buttons and triggers? Xbox and DS4 are fucking terrible about this.
Try switch pro
I have a steam controller and it's honestly great. I lost my dongle though
I'm waiting for the release of the model 2 which I hear is in the works. If it fixes the problems that the OG had like the loud and hard clicks then it will be the best damn controller you could own for most PC games.
You can use it via Bluetooth.
yeah it's nice, every time I go to the Dualshock 4 to play something on PS4 I get surprised by how bad it feels, the sticks especially.
I get occasional interference and disconnects with the usb dongle though, it's kind of annoying.
>paying more than 30 bucks for a controller
lol, shit just breaks in a few months
>no gyro
>in 2020
Not gonna make it bucko
I‘ll stick with my 360
Btw, guerilla marketing?
I actually did the same recently, I wanted to replay Dragons Dogma but PS4 controller was being ass.
never broken a controller here
still using my 360 controller from like 2007 on my PC
stop jizzing on it and maybe itll last longer
>plays 30 minutes a week
My 360 controller from 2007 still works fine, and that went through 1000s of hours of gameplay. My Xbone controller from 2016 still works but that's to be expected
Is it worth buying an xbox series x controller over the xbox one or 360 one?
Also the steam controller looks ugly and unwieldy as sin, how is it good?
>My 360 controller from 2007 still works fine
are you using a wireless adapter? i've probably had over a dozen wired 360 controllers over the last decade and they just fall apart. or maybe i'm just an ape who can't take care of my shit
Aren't they both 60 dollars, the sex one could be good if you use it with multiple bluetooth devices.
Don't buy a 360 controller in the current year, they haven't been made for years and the market is full of chink fakes.
I mean there's no real reason not to.
I have the Elite 2, Xbone stock controller, 360 stock controller, and the Series X stock controller. Xbone if you're running wired, SeX if you're running bluetooth.
No, I use wired 70% of the time.
