I'm going to play shadowlands after a long break from BfA. And I wonder if these kinds of mouses would make my gameplay better. Worth buying one? Whats a cheap good mmo mouse?
Is pic related worth buying for WoW?

This is the best mouse I ever owned, but I only used the buttons for terraria I don't see why you couldn't for WoW as well
It's shit. The buttons aren't laid out in an ergonomic fashion so it feels clunky and uncomfortable to use. The rival 500 is way better. G502 is okay as well.
Ah yes, the duality of man
Hell no unless you want carpal tunnel. Just keybind on your keyboard and learn to play.
Do you PVP? I can understand needing extra binds for target party/arena1-3 macros, but otherwise seems like a waste
Whatever you do no buy the razer mouse that looks like that, no matter what anyone says it won't even last you six months.
Yes, 3 years of service would buy it again if shipping in to my country doesn't cost any arm or a leg.
Those buttons are what you really need for mmo and fps.
I dunno bout logitech but having extra buttons is fuckin sweet.
It takes some getting used to, but it’s pretty easy to reach the first 9 buttons with one’s thumb.
The farthest row of buttons is difficult to use for me, and the whole shift key button near the pinky finger is in a similarly uncomfortable area. My hands and kind of small though. I’ve seen others who swear by it and effectively have double the amount of buttons to use. But even without the shift key button, I effectively have an extra 9 buttons available to press just using my thumbs. I haven’t played WoW in forever, but this is extremely useful whenever I play other MMOs.
Your options are Logitech G600, Razer Naga and Corsair Scimitar. Personally I went with the Naga because it was the cheapest at the time but the swappable sides turned out to be a huge boon. Having a 12-button grid under your thumb is impractical for everything besides WoW and the Naga can swap to a normal 2-button side in a second.
Absolutely worth having in WoW though. Use Bartender or Dominoes to make a 12-button grid that corresponds to the mouse buttons for peak performance.
I own a G604 and I'd say it's totally worth it
Probably worth it, I got the g600 on sale for $23 last December and I have used it since then. Not all of the buttons are in a convenient place to use all the time but I do use 6 of the side buttons regularly and have the other 6 mapped out. I like the design because I can rest my palm nicely on the mouse and keep my wrist off the mousepad which you can't do with smaller mice.
pretty much mandatory for any mmo desu
This is the first mouse i ever used that felt like a tool instead of toy.
Its a top notch mouse, but why would you want to play shadowlands? Are you retarded or something?
I bought it because I play MMOs a lot but I hate using the side buttons and only use the two that my thumb sits on naturally.
I've heard the wheel on those suck ass, does it?
I want something wireless and that's pretty much all there is with fuckloads of buttons
For WoW, literally just get any mouse with back/forward buttons on the side and map strafing to them. That's all you need to make mouse movement perfect.
Actual whole keypads on mice are a complete meme.
Looking for a cheap mouse? Get this one is good
amazon.com
rival 500 is great for many other games as well - it has a nice optical sensor for fps titles and its button layout is honestly perfect for mordhau. only con is that it's heavy.
the mouse from OP's pic has a pretty shitty sensor on it and is extremely heavy so you'd really only be able to use it for mmos. I've tried that logitech mouse and the corsair scimitar but both felt unwieldy and not very comfortable to use.
its good
wouldnt know what to do without it
This or the g502 wired hero?
I use one since 2015, I already know my next mouse will be the same, unless it stops being produced which I'm afraid of especially since there doesn't seem to be other mouse with a g-shift function.
just stockpile lmao
why do people need this?
just bind the back / forward button on your mouse to shift / alt or control
more potential assignments than you will ever need in any game ever
I've been using one for 7ish years now. Bought it to play MMOs but eventually just bound all the buttons to shortcuts to make using certain software quicker. Would recommend.
FUCK NO it keeps forgetting my set mouse profiles for some reason. I still have mine and I got it JUST for WoW. Get something else
its my current mouse.
I use it for pso2 and FFXIV. amongst other games.
It takes a while to get used to the layout but is otherwise fine other than the scroll wheel getting kind of fucky on me after a year of usage.
>there doesn't seem to be other mouse with a g-shift function.
and that many buttons of course, I use the 32 for navigation, I have things bound to it like copy paste, change sound output, refresh page, open history etc. I used to make a profile for each game but it was a lot of work so I ended up making a generic profile which works well.
I can't imagine how tiny your hands must be to effectively use a mouse like that. If it's comfortable for you, immediately quit playing MMOs and start lifting.
it is far more comfortable to play with just wasd and movement for left hand than killing it with number keys. I cannot go back to non mouse buttons.
Gaming aside I want more buttons for 3d modelling and graphic design so I can bind all the fucking modifiers and shortcuts to the mouse and do it one handed
I'm 6'2 and have huge hands. I have no issues with this mouse.
yeah I bought it
works great
They're expensive and I always think to myself that maybe I haven't dug enough, maybe there's another similar mouse out there, or maybe a new and better one will be created.
