Kingdom Come Deliverance

So with patches and updates later, is this game any good?

I played through it when the sniffles started, patch 1.9 I think. Was pretty great overall but it has extreme pacing problems and the combat gets completely trivialized by one of the abilities.

Best game of 2018.

I would say, this is the best experience I have in gaming since Skyrim, not even joking.

Anyway, they are working on the game sequel since 2018, it might shows up next year. I'm hyped.

It was always good.

It's a little janky but quite nice. Best first-person fantasy since Dark Messiah.

Is the combat still obliterated by just spamming m1?

It was going good until they put in the pandemic patch that let villagers spread disease. Now my world feels dead and empty.

Its great. it was buggy back then, might be buggy still but it was made with heart and has soul. Also it is not yet another generic open world romp.

It's amazing how the bottom falls completely out of the game when you learn parries; especially since it's kind of a required skill, and fighting without it is a fucking nightmare. It's even funnier when you get the perk called "skullbasher" or something, where you can one-hit-KO enemies with a perfect parry. I finished almost the entirety of the tournament DLC by beating most opponents in one hit.

when was this patch added? I haven't played since the last dlc was made.

This game is anti-catholic

How?

I've finished the game when It was 1.3 patch. During that period Warhorse were releasing 3 major patches during ONE (1) fucking month. I've replayed KCD with Theresa DLC and hardcore mode later last month. It is objectively the best arpg of the last decade.

and?

Apparently because it takes place in the time period where people are complaining about the Catholic Church's practice of selling indulgences.

I only ran into a few bugs in 1.9, none of them were crash bugs. One quest was missing its reward and another one where NPCs are supposed to attack other NPCs had them attack me instead.

It doesn't help that combos are fucking useless since you can never actually chain strikes on an opponent without them parrying or sneaking a shot in between after blocking.

That is a legitimate bad thing though.

Fuck, I'm 30 hours in and I'm afraid to leave the first village.

Yes.

Do it. The low-level bandits are simply there for you to stag randomly. Just don't head anywhere to the northwest where the Cumans and high level bandits are (the ones in armor who WILL make your life miserable, even if you are at the max level).

Good. As a religious man, all institutions claiming to be of God should be razed and their exploitative denizens forced to admit their sins to the public.

Don't let the intro sequence fool you it's not so bad unless you trod into an entire bandito camp trying to smash face

Also, you can avoid most enemies by going straight into the woods. But then you don't get to level up.

Christfags culled when?

>God be with you, anons
Can I leave the shit I stole in the chest at home, or everything will be destroyed by the fire?

Just play the goddamned game already.

Who gives a shit about underpowered garbage?

And no, you can't.

>Who gives a shit about underpowered garbage?
My inner jew, crying about all that groshen I could get from selling all that garbage

You can get more by abusing shooting contests. Hell, if you're powerful enough, just do the tourney for an easy win of 400 groschen, high level gear, and the ability to complete a certain quest even if it's already been completed the "wrong" way, since it would update afterwards (but only applicable to the first tourney you win). And you can yank everything off of bandits you killed as well, and also hunt.

Or you can also simply look online for treasure chests (which also requires lockpicking skills, which are braindead easy on PC, with the only limitation are what locks you can pick on your own skill level).

And, with the From the Ashes DLC, where you can build an entire village, once you complete it, you get even more money from the chest from its rathaus.

Seriously. You will be stupidly rich if you decide to do everything.

Hats off to you, user. Thats very insightful.
