Should I buy it or wait for Forza horizon 4 to go on sale?
The open world driving looks really fun, but I never played this series before.
I've only played 4 and it's pretty fun but they look extremely similar to me

If PC, then definately go for it. On console it's locked at 30fps even on XboneX

Well it's a play anywhere title so you only gotta buy it once and you can play it between both. Assuming you have both of course.

I obviously know nothing of licensing but why would you not just have the cars licensed permanently through the game? Same with music. The license should apply through the duration of development but upon release can stay on the game indefinitely

My point is if played on Xbone, you might as well go for a physical copy of Forza Horizon 2, which is a GREAT title set in beautiful southern France/Italy

I played both on my new PC this summer ( first time with the series ) and although 4 looks slightly better, I prefer the sunny Australian setting of 3. The Hot Wheels DLC is neat too, even though it gets old and repetitive fast *same orange loops over and over

Because they have licenses with car manufacturers for a 4 year period. I guess Microsoft decided its not worth it to try to renew the license, especially since they're supporting FH4 now.
