Don't feel too bad. Getting a steelbook and the normal case was HUGE. I literally bought the steelbook and standard versions of Persona 5 separately due to autism.

If ff7 remake was an original game with original characters, even with the same story, just change some names and visuals a little bit, Zig Forums would be praising this game nonstop

Because most wanted a modern remake of the classic game with preferably the added content that had to be cut from the original because of limitations at the time and to improve on what the original lacked in.

Not a fanfiction tier story that will slowly start to become something completely different. This was the one chance to have a perfect remake of a legendary game and it's ruined forever. We could've had the definitive final fantasy 7. That's why.
