I want to support NIS, but they've killed any faith I have with the ridiculous nickel-and-dime shit.
Why should I buy the game, when they are going to release another 30-40 bucks in DLC and then turn around and release a complete version a year from now that will be made obsolete by a MORE complete version a couple of years after?

And they've added in options to skip them years and years ago.

Have you? The more simple animations didn't have any transition, and just happened on the field. Additionally, the previous games didn't simply have 1-3 seconds of black screen; characters would usually get hit into the transition or something. It was faster and more dynamic.

I love Gig, but I don't think he's as strong as he claims he is, at least in comparison to other heavy-hitters in the Disgaea franchise. He was killed by a mortal while in his true form, and he's weaker than the gods of Drazil. He's a big fish in a small pond on Haephness.
