I don't give a fuck about PS5, and think it's going to be an overheating mess with unstable performance that gets crushed in benchmarks by the Series X, but it drives me crazy when people talk about game performance like it's a toggle for devs to switch.

Just about any modern piece of hardware, from smartphones to the Switch to the PS4 Pro, could pump out 4k60. The question is what are the game going to actually look like. There's nothing particularly shocking about the idea of a launch game with really high fidelity visuals running at 1440p60. If anything, it's a testament to how powerful these new consoles are.
