how do i use the shield correctly? it constantly feels like the attack should be blocked but i get damage anyways. i have to say in general that this game has me scratching my head way too often, confused what the fuck hit he. the enemies that don't have a shield blend in way too much as well. the game looks beautiful but knowing what information is important and which isn't should have been prioritized

No, you’ll start rolling in titans blood with heat level bounties. If you clear once with each weapon you’ll get 15 from that, Hermes has a bounty that gives you 5, and if you clear with each heat modifier (doesn’t have to be All at once) you get another 15... this just on top of all the ones from clears

It comes to you with time, I saw nothing the first couple of attempts.
Still was overhelmed with Hades for a while even after beating him a few times.
Now I think Hades is easier than the two fuck Boys.

Try fighting Meg with the shield and when she does her bullet hell attack, just stand next to her with your bullrush charging and aimed at her, you won't take damage

Do the god trinkets that make the first boon one of theirs persist between regions? What I mean is: If I take ares' trinket in tartarus the first boon will be his. If I keep it after the furies' fight, will it also guarantee me an ares boon in asphodel?

i know that but especially the shield bros in elysium seem weird. when they do their ranged move where they slam thier shield into the ground i constantly get hit by the, even though i face directly towards them

Nono, check the trinket in the boons menu, it only works once. You still get the +quality though.
