It is shocking how effective this strategy is. Sentry deploying units end up doing like four times more damage than my DPS just by existing and having their turrets shoot stuff. The amount of damage the turrets do is so high too.

Yeah it works great until the second to last stage when the boss just deletes all that shit and then you have to actually get in there
Bonus points if you do sentries AND interceptors + AoE clear with super big missile

As someone who natrually likes turrets, i.e., something to do the aiming and shooting for me I discovered this strat right away. I'm only about halfway through Destruction and I'm playing on Normal, but I do plan on going back later and trying to play the game properly on Intense or whatever since I do like the battle system in general.

It actually is pretty great for LPs since after the prologue it's almost guaranteed that everyone playing will go down separate paths and learn things in different orders so you can see quite varied reactions and speculation because of that.
