Holding onto Melee in the face of Brawl was excusable. Brawl was unfair by design. Holding onto Melee during 4 was questionable, because, while 4 was slow, it was still mechanically competent and well balanced until Bayonetta ruined it all. But 4 was slow, so there's that weakness.
Holding onto Melee during Ultimate is ridiculous. The only reason to not move on is because of sloth. A fear of change and a refusal to give up the environment you're accustomed to.
Meleefags deserve to be shat on. They deserve to be mocked and insulted. They're the videogame equivalent of that annoying playground dipshit who wanted to change the rules for every game he played to give himself an edge.

It's a copy of Nuclear Kermit for "disrespecting the dev", so no not really. Melee players are incredibly obnoxious, though. They're going to play Melee forever, and Sakurai will probably never go back to that mess, so why do melee/non-melee posters ever make eye contact with each other's posts?

We've known the input delay on Ultimate is abysmal since the demo. Why are people still trying to argue it's smooth and fast? All the other bullshit is preference, but no smash game will be as good as melee if it feels like everything is moving through molasses.
