Exclusives. It's literally the exclusives and it always has been. The Xbox has slightly more power, a wealth of old games through gamepass, and backwards compatibility with consoles nobody plays or wants to play anymore. The PS5 has games. Exclusive games. Demon's Souls Remake will only be on PS and on NO other platform including the PC. They have this on DAY ONE but they also have Rachet and Clank, Sackboy, the superior version of Horizon and Spiderman and many more. It's quality not quantity, and PS5 has quality titles while Xbox is pretending flooding people with old games is enough. It's not.

And even if you want to talk about Exclusive, your choices for Xbox games are either to buy an Xbox or a 1500$ PC, I think the casual consumer aka the biggest player base will opt for the Xbox.
The biggest game for the PS5 is a PS3 remake. Say what you want about "No launch games" but at least MS isn't charging 70$ to play a game they couldn't be bother to fix for free.

I'm not paying $70 each for a bunch of games I don't even want over $5 for plenty that I do. The only good one is Demon's Souls and I already have it on PS3
