Thinking of getting a TV not sure what to get though. Seems like anything under 1000 is mediocre shit for current year

Ofcourse, LG CX

I have B7 so sadly it only supports 120Hz refresh on FullHD. I may upgrade it in a year or two.

Soon, once I get an hdmi 2.1 gpu

Based. C9 user here.

Search HDTVTest on youtube

I play on a 1440p 144hz monitor. My decade old TV just collects dust.

There are a few tv's that have built in freesync. Which is xbox compatible. That plus hdr seems the best you are getting for console gaming.

Sony X900H is pretty good

I got a hisense h8g, very good for the price, incorporates dimming zones at like $500, colors are fantastic, HDR implementation is not great but that's what you get for the price.

C9 65in. 3080 arrives on saturday. Feels gud.

Too fucking expensive, i'm eying a 120hz/4K Aquos. What do you guys think of those?

oh but it's only 60hz, has very low response time though, not sure if 120hz below 1000 even exists, above a 30 inch monitor at least.

no
my PC's plugged into a 25" 1200p 75hz IPS monitor
my PS3 into a 1080p 27" PLS monitor that serves as TV
and my SNES into a literal who consumer 15" CRT with a crooked tube

Doesn't oled leave burns?

Is the LG OLED TV the best TV on the market? I picked up a C8 a couple years ago and they’re absolutely amazing

no i dont have cash to burn

240hz 8k only bro

No because i am fucking poorfag with no job. Still dreaming to have it one day

Yes, C9 and CX are unrivaled and even more if you're a gamer, I'm getting a cx soon personally after seeing it irl and watching many reviews

>OLED
enjoy sweating over having an overlay on screen for more than 5 minutes

nah fuck that, samsung qled thanks

The anti burn in countermeasures are apparently insanely good nowadays

TCL series 6

Most games have unremovable UI.

I doubt they're good enough for livestream overlays.

Waiting for my C9 firmware update to support G-sync at 4K120 already.

Still, with static imagery automatic dimming and pixel shifting it should be fine. A friend of mine has a c7 or c8 as his monitor and has been using for years and he has yet to see burn in.

>N-NO! JUST USE THE SNAKEOIL SCREENFIX OPTION. IT ONLY TAKES 6 HOURS. SOMETIMES. IF YOU'RE LUCKY. AND MAYBE. KIND OF WO--SH-SHUT UP! MY $1500 WAS WELL SPENT AHHHHHH

I literally can't. I have PWM sensitivity which fucks my eye up and causes headaches. I also use lcd phone for that reason

>Just autorotate channels every couple hours and dim the screen to shit like my experiment bro totally fixes the issue wait what do you mean you want to watch one channel? Well that's a personal problem the TV is FINE!

The seething, just watch torture tests on youtube and you'll see.

65’ LG CX with a Best Buy 5 year warranty, one dead pixel or the PornHub logo burned into my screen and I’m getting it replaced

OLED is just a steppingstone technology to justify consumer MicroLED research. My 1080p Samsung is still going after 8 years. I have no intention of replacing it until MicroLED shows up in 2025. Sadly it would be 2022 if not for the fact Mainland China will be conquered by the West soon.
