I don't see the problem. Looks good as a concept. You will most likely have to distribute skill points between actives and passives, and in the case of sorceress between your attacks and enchantments. Visually also it looks nice.
Much better than PoE's stat tree abomination that only autists enjoy.

It apparently doesn't involve points, but on the other hand they intend for a full character to have gone through 30-40% of the tree. The "build" aspect should come from the combination of active, branches and passived. If they don't have easy respecs, I'm fine with that.
