It's really well optimized, I'd say give it a try, it's a small game so who knows, it might run perfectly for you. I hope it does, it's a really fun game and it definitely needs more attention.

it's still the worst performing Vanillaware game since Grimgrimoire. Odin Sphere did good, Muramasa did good, Dragon Crown Crown did REALLY good. This is going to be lucky to tread water especially with the garbage localization and lack of a PC port.
