Don't give a fuck about whoever this guy is but the N64 was one of the worst consoles of all time.Early 3D games were mostly terrible with only a few exceptions such as games like Spyro or Ocarina of Time. I don't know how Nintendo pulled off making a couple of good 3D games on the console but a majority of devs had no fucking clue what the were doing with it and just made a whole bunch of awful games. I wish the N64 and PS1 era would have stuck with 2D more. I don't think 3D titles started getting generally decent until the PS2 era and even then there were some shit games here and there. Console FPS was terrible until the PS3/360 era, don't know why they even bothered until then. About the only FPS I can think of that was good before that was Timesplitters. Goldeneye is shit and always was shit. I remember playing Goldeneye as a kid and thinking how fucking awful the controls were. I don't think games age poorly, I think they start off as shit as they ever will be and only a handful of early 3D games could ever be considered good.
