I won't buy either but xbone looks nice and game pass seems like a good option. Is backwards compatiblity from all the previous consoles also present? If it is, then ps5 just sucks ass man.

Like, aesthetically? Yes. I think they're both boring but the PS5 crosses over into displeasing to look at.

We'll see about games, but I hope XBox does well because it tends to have better UX. Most importantly, it seems likely every game on XBox will also come out on PC.

Anyone with a brain should like the Series X more. PS5 will still sell more though thanks to brand recognition and loyalty.

In terms of the design? Abso-fucking-lutely. I have no idea who the PS5 is designed for. It looks like they meant it for the postmodern soi boy demographic, but with that massive size it's anything but minimalistic.

100% of xbox one games are compatible. Like 90% of the 360 games that matter are compatible. And about 80% of the OG Xbox games that matter are compatible. Looking at the backwards compatibility list, there was only about 4 or 5 games that I wish they had. But most of the games they had for backwards compatibility that I wanted, they had on there.

Worse. It actually DOES have a 1TB SSD, but a bunch of the space is wasted on an an Astro Bot tech demo gimmick that you aren't allowed to uninstall, so they market it as 825GB instead.

Well Xbox Series X reviews are all showing off Xbox One games at 60 fps. The PS5 could show off it's backwards compatibility at 60 FPS. Unless they aren't able to get their ps4 games at a stable 60 but I wouldn't know, guess we'll just have to wait.

no it has 825gb as the max capacity because of the 12 channel nand config they have. that means real capacity will be around 600gb.

Does ps5 have quick resume? I know that why the series x takes up so much for the OS. If ps5 doesn't have quick resume it'll probably take up less. Either way, 825gb BEFORE it's used for the OS is fucking unacceptable

He's saying that you can quick resume if you turn the console off and back on again, but if you start a different game you lose your "save state" and have to restart the game normally.
