started browsing Zig Forums in 2012 or 2013. Didnt ever go on Zig Forums until 2019 or so and I only come here for entertainment when im bored. I really dont play videogames. I havnt had the time for them since I was a kid.

When I was 14, in 2012. My retard classmates had been going on about how super secret and hardcore Zig Forums was, and when I asked 'em if they posted there they said "no way, we just get all this from funnyjunk". So I decided to get the hardcore stuff straight from the source, and went on Zig Forums. Of course it was boring as shit and nothing happened so it wasn't until I randomly decided to go on /tg/ a week or two later that I actually started posting on Zig Forums properly.

I'm aware that I just proved I'm a newfag, lol.

I came for /vp/'s inauguration and have regretted it ever since

How/why does anyone remember when they first started posting? Was it really that impactful a moment in your life?

Will admit my newfag ways and saying I mostly started frequenting it around 2010, but during 2007-2009 I mostly would just browse Zig Forums between class.

I have to use shitholes like twitter and youtube as my daily work. Trust me, those websites make shit like Zig Forums and Zig Forums feel like a breath of fresh air, you can shitpost here and know nothing matters, you say one shitty thing on the other sites and people come after you, your job, your lifely hood. Not even talking political shit either. If anything, the internet as a whole has become more like Zig Forums to the point where this website as a whole feels antiquated and comfy.

K-On was what started the "take an existing meme and just plaster it over our show" thing, rather than having memes that emerged from the show itself. They were also the first fans to aggressively post their show on other boards, like actively making threads to piss people off with and proudly stating as much. When MLP took off they did the exact same thing, and their posting styles were so similar that I figured that ponyfags and K-Onfags were the same group. I wonder if they really were, or if ponyfags were just mimicking the K-On spam of the time.

God I think in like 2012 exclusively for /mlp/, branched out and now pop in a handful of boards a few times a year

I guess my early years on the internet talking to people who were convinced they were real life vampires and in to blood play and other weird shit really made this nothing special.

2010, I think. But I only started posting regularly around 2012. I took that lurk for 2 years before posting seriously, not because I was scared of being judged, but because learning the culture of this place was genuinely fun.

Some time around high school, which was no later than 2010. I came to Zig Forums no later than 2012.

It's not all that weird to wonder how long you've been here when you've been here for so long.
