Consider this. If you play any supposed "genre" of fighter outside of traditional 2D fighting games, you are playing the low IQ genre and a genre that requires no real strategy.
Traditional fighters will always be the highest IQ to play. Playing anything else is either coping massively from lack of skill or shows low intelligence.
3D fighters have an entire added dimension of possibilities. 3D fighters are to chess/go as 2D fighters are to checkers. Sorry you weren’t able to adapt.

>Testing your limits and honing your skills at pressing buttons Jesus fucking christ does Zig Forums really
This is falseflag bait thread. But it's unironically true. ''Fighting game'' should only be used for Capcom and SNK titles, everything else is a casual masher for low IQ kids who want to look cool saying they play one of the hardest genres when in reality they're just mashing buttons in like Tekken or anime games that aren't even fighting games in the first place.
Another dimension of pressing square over and over again to win. Its unga bunga retard shit.
Xavier Brown
this is so ironic since the most popular 3D game atm is tekken that basically doesn't even have a jump button for how useless it is and the matches play like 1D since sidestep and movement in general is so heckin bad. on top of how braindead the actual gameplay is
Oliver Mitchell
Yes I am a tekken chad and I main Eddie and sometimes Christie Fuck street "fighter" more like street shitters lmao

SFV is certainly chess, or more aptly, tic tac toe, but there are many 2D fighters that are a bit more like chess and 3D ones that are checkers. It depends on the game. SFV fags are at the bottom of the totem poll and bottom of the skill ladder in the whole FGC, so their opinions on things cannot be taken seriously. OP is probably Silver rank and this is his only fighting game.
>Arcsys frauds are better at a fraud game for mashers Is this supposed to be surprising

Meanwhile in reality youtube.com/watch?v=Bijpz85T0ZI >Daigo 1 month into the game almost beats the strongest GG player ever with 20 years under his belt Anime games are inherently anti-competition because of how dead they are, they have the lowest skill ladder in the FGC because of it even lower than 3D games that have different set of skills compared to 2D like Tekken
Nathan Fisher
>because of how dead they are uh DBZ has had double the player base of SFV for its entire existence lmao

Think you mixed up the games user. Crossplay numbers aren't even included there, which FighterZ doesn't even have.
