Yeah, he just likes to build. This is cool for people like Mario and other platforming characters, because Steve loves to build parkor courses for them to do and an endless supply of Zombies now makes Simon and Richter feel like home. Though their attempts to throw holy water on the Enderman never work out too well.
Dark Samus thought she saw Steve once, but his eyes were all wrong. They had a fun chat, but hasn't been able to find him again. When asking Steve about it, he ran away, she couldn't tell if it was because of the other Steve or herself.

Probably something only people who play minecraft get, but they did a fantastic job making steve behave like an actual player. The way even closes the door at the end of the victory is perfect. People gonna shit on him for looking simple, but theres an incredible attention to detail thats not present in all the dlc fighters

Just because you don't recognize it doesn't mean it isn't there. I can accept the incongruities of how they implemented MC as a fighter, but I just can't accept how ugly the models and animations look. Putting programmer art in a AAA high-res game was a mistake, no matter what game it is. This addition just looks ugly as fuck and totally out of place with the rest of the game. I appreciate their efforts with the stage trying to make it look normal, but it just clashes too much with the rest of the character assets. Feels like something I'd see from PS All-Stars, or worse, from MUGEN.

Some of the stuff Steve does can be kinda scary

You might like it, but I hate it, because it looks completely out of place. Even G&W looks more in place, possibly because he at least has some curved edges. Steve just looks fucking bad. I mean he always did, the whole game did, but when it was contained and you modded the shit out of it the game didn't look as much like ass, and you never saw yourself anyway. Just seeing the default model, no edits, and all that garbage texturing, it's a bit too much to bear when it's right next to fantastically animated and exceptionally well-modeled characters.
