Fighting bots isn't a simple solution. It's of course Valve's fault due to making TF2 f2p and putting the game out to pasture, but consistently monitoring how bots avoid VAC and updating VAC's database of cheats for TF2 isn't something current Valve cares too much for.
I feel your frustration too user, but your shit's going to fall on deaf ears unless you have some sort of sway with Valve.

I quit around the time valve put out a message saying they were "working on it". That was months ago and I'm not surprised to hear they've done fuck all. At least I get to revisit L4D2 for a while though.

Lad, they would get so much flak and bad press from turning a F2P game back into a paid-only game that it wouldn't be worth it. That shit would fix a lot of problems, but they can't pull a Quake Live without repercussions.

Hypothetical, what if they had two types of servers, F2P and Non-F2P. F2P would only be allowed on F2P servers while Non-F2P would be allowed to choose whichever they prefer.
