does anyone enjoy fighting green 4 armed lizards?

TFE>4>BFE Fusion>TSE>>>>Depends on the distance.

Until they'll patch 4 it's in the shit-tier.

It got a second patch today.

France fucking sucks

4 > Jewel of the Nile > Second half of 3 > TSE > TFE > 2 >>>>>> First half of 3

Give it to me straight. Is this game worth it for full price or should I wait until it hits bargain bin next year? I loved TFE and TSE, and even BFE wasn't terrible despite its flaws and still shined at times.

>Call of Sam
>better than anything
nah

Swap TFE and TSE and it's perfect

I'd wait, and I'm saying this as someone who really loved the game. It's getting updates but I can't say when things will be truly optimized.

Game itself is much better than BFE. What I don't like is that you have NPCs, broken levels like France, no 16 player co-op and a fuckton of bugs. I'd wait a year or so.

>hits bargain bin next year?
try next month

I never played Jewel of the Nile. Is it really that good? Worth going back and playing in the meantime?

I hope they sale it soon. I'd bite for $15-$20, but $40 just seems a little steep for an AA/indie game with middling reviews. And I have enough respect for Croteam as a developer that I don't really want to pirate either.

Main points from the recent patch:
>The benchmark will no longer create auto-saves, so your progress is safe once again.
>The benchmark will no longer leave the cheats turned on at the end of the run.
>You can now disable all hints, as well as the headshot indicators in the game options menu.
>Netricsa indicators can now be controlled through the game options menu.
>Weapon slots are now bindable! Thanks for your feedback on this.
>Toggle last weapon will now ignore gadgets.
>Objective markers visibility can now be controlled through game options (auto, always, never).
And then a bunch more other fixes.

It's pretty alright.Better than most BFE levels if anything.

2 is better than BFE

Why would someone even need feedback on fucking rebindable keys after you've been working on PC games for two decades

I am not even joking, every map of the game is 20x20 km square. Filled with random trees and full ground collision. What the fuck?

Sounds like SOUL to me. Imagine what strange and mystical things you'll find by getting out of bounds and poking around all the areas the devs didn't mean for you to find.

this, faggots on here love parroting their daddy youtubers opinions

reminder that serious sam 4 is early access in all but name, and practically everything is going to get overhauled and updated as time goes on
by the end of it all, I think this will probably end up being one of the best games in the series

why is Hana there?

He looks like fucking Hank Hill

I haven’t seen this in years. This is unmeasurable level of shitpost

also levels that share music probably won't by the end

>more ss4 music
Please yes.

what's wrong with the music?

and here's one chief reason why the game felt so half-baked, they had literally just damjan doing practically everything related to audio, so I imagine this was the same across a lot of the other areas and they had like one guy working on fifty different things

Attached: file.png (369x333, 37.88K)

nothing is essentially wrong with them, but there's 15 levels and only 11 suites of music in the OST, and I guess he wants to fix that

Some levels don't have their own themes.
Some bosses share the same theme.
That's about it.

As someone that loved TFE, TSE amd even 2 more than BFE once they polish the game how is it gonna hold up?

Attached: NewCanvas1gg.png (540x720, 151.99K)

It's alright, but felt like pandering rather than something inspired. Big jetpack section to make up for introducing it at the last second, truckloads of sniper and laser gun ammo to make up for them being secret only, reptiloids on every available ledge.

New programmers I think. The main programmer who was behind that croatian technowizardry in the previous games left Croteam for Google.

It's holding up better than BFE right now.

damjan actually showed up to answer loads of questions about various music and sound design stuff

Damjan was really phoning it in when he made the soundtrack. For whatever reason he thought that bland Holywood style orchestral crap was fitting.
