playing this now for the first time. Previously have completed 1, 3, 4 and donte. Finished all of dante missions and now on mission 8 of lucia. Compared to the other games its bad, but its not as bad as people say. Im enjoying it. Its top jank and top cringe, it appeals to very niche sensibilities. I happen to enjoy it. I remember being a kid and seeing this cover before I ever got into this series and thought a. the name devil may cry 2 sounds cool as fuck and the protagonist on the cover is some seriously badass motherfucker.

I remember picking up the Ghost Rider PS2 game years back after hearing it was DMC with Ghost Rider, and I've been meaning to pick up TNBC:Oogie's Revenge as well at some point.

Fixed it for you. As someone who was a regular at smash events I can tell you that these people don't give a shit about the main series of any character. They're a mutant relative of Maddenfags or Fifafags. They aren't into smash as a celebration of gaming, they're in it because its popular.

Besides oogie's revenge, you can play van helsing. It's essentially DMC2 but good, because the enemies aren't as jank and the melee weapons are okay (even if guns sre the stars of the game).

What was Majin Devil Trigger named in the Japanese version of DMC2 anyway? Majin Majin form? Maybe it was Shin Majin, but the localizers fucked it up to say Majin Devil Trigger.
We know that in all other games, Devil Trigger is just the Majin form, and in 5, Shin Majin is Majin+1.
Also, why did they change Shin Majin to Sin Majin in the English version?
