I'm going to play Amnesia TDD for the first time. I hope it's not just a hide and seek simulator.

Doing the same thing currently at storage on hard mode. Reluctant to continue.

Yeah it is pretty much. If that's not your cup of tea you probably won't like it but it's pretty scary.

SOMA wasnt scary though sadly
like the narrative is cool, the frictional lads always write a good story, but SOMA left me bored compared to Amnesia and especially Penumbra

Based. Dead Space and The Evil Within are some of my favorite games ever.

It's a horror game that has you exploring a spooky castle as you solve puzzles while hiding from and *occasionally* running from spooky monsters.

If that's what you mean by "hide and seek simulator" then you're probably not gonna be happy with it, even though it is the very best of that genre.

I thought it was still scary, though not as scary as Amnesia. Theta was spooky as fuck though, the proxies scared the fuck out of me.

But really I just want to play Life is Strange for the first time again

Beat Evil Within 2 at the end of September. Bought Evil Within 1 and plan on playing it on friday. 2 was really good and I hear 1 isn't nearly as good but I like the atmosphere in the hour I've played so far. Hope we get a third one directed by John Johanas again.

I prefer 1 to 2, it’s really divisive, but I find normie casuals prefer 2 kek (which is why 2 is more well received)

Probably not especially since my wife also has to pick out movies she wants to stream. My wife and I always watch Over Garden Wall and The Great Pumpkin as well. We’re also playing Life is Strange together and might play a couple other movie games. Our first kiss was on Halloween back in 2015 and it’s always been our favorite season.
Started watching shit in September so I’ve already watched Lake Mungo, Let the right one in, Invader Zim, and Wishmaster. Started watching the old Lenore The Cute Little Dead Girl flashes today.

I fucking love Halloween bros.

One is better.
Clunkier but better atmosphere and art desiign.
Has some pacing problems, last chapters are meh.
