Because the arstyle is really conflicting with everything else in smash, which honestly surprise me because smash has so many different styles on it but nothing feel as out of place as the minecraft character and stage.

Whoa now, Garreg Mach is fine, it just needed to actually fly around the Monastery similarly to Melee Mute City or Port Town Aero Drive instead of just flying into the clouds and then back down to the monastery. Also stop at more than 4 locations, as it is the stage barely covers half of the monastary. Seriously, why the fuck doesn't the stage stop off at the classroom courtyard?
