Yeah probably. I deleted my own blizz account so I'll never know. Necro in D3 is the most fun I've ever had in a diablo clone, and yes I have played path of exile.

Like all blizzard games, im sure it will be passable. However, it will absolutely throw out any ideas that cater to enthusiasts to the genre, and instead focus on satisfying lowest common denominator reddit gamers.

I just do not get the point of these games. Overhead view, keep mindlessly smashing the attack button while waiting for your timed abilities to recharge, every class is essentially the same shit. Loot is excruciatingly overdone similar to Nioh where you just get fatigue from picking up shit every literally 2 seconds of the game, and even if you do get the bestest rarest lootiest loot in the game, youàre still just smashing the attack button like a mindless moron. WHAT am I missing lads, I wanted to like D3, but damn if I did not learn to hate the whole genre of games that look like it

stats have always been meaningless in diablo. You always built full HP and just enough other stats to wield a good enough weapon for the final act. No one actually cares about their intrinsic benefits, they're just item gates.
