The only time you'd want 4 stars in your party is if you have the more important roles filled with the optimal 5 stars.
There's a reason every single person who gives advice about rerolling tells you to stop once you get any 5 star, any 5 star you get will overwhelmingly increase the strength of your party.

she's ranged and has a normal ability you can drop and forget about, that's literally the only reason she shows up in a party. You switch to her, drop her bird, and switch to someone else. She's a support and fills the lightning quota because all of the other lightning characters are shit or are dps, and if you have Diluc, there's no reason to try and have any other damage dealer.
Notice how all the posts about the game involve loot crate drops. That should be a massive red flag for you and give you an idea of the type of "game" it is.

Nope, main character is a better wind character than her. Venti is the only wind character that matters since he breaks your party and makes it monster strong.
She has some of the best DPS late game too, esp if you just get 1 dupe of her.
At max constellation she'll out DPS pretty much everyone but a whaled Diluc

because while you take time to kill things and finish quests, I one shot things with Diluc. Everytime you stop to do a challenge that takes 20-30 seconds or take 5 minutes to clear a dungeon, I do it in under a quarter of the time with a team that doesn't waste my time.

People with optimal teams can clear content way faster than non-optimal teams which lets them clear more content and earn more currency to continue playing the game.
I've been spending all my gems and dust on the Intermingling fates so I've only had 1 roll on the standard banner. I assumed the standard gacha currency would be a bit more common because it costs as much as the special one; why would you ever buy it? Standard banner is shit right.

Exploration is fun but the world felt empty, just taking it as casual hiking simulator with occasional looting
Combat gameplay need overhaul imo, it might be fine for gacha/mobage players but it feels shallow and lacking, element combining is fun for the first few times but after that it get boring because each character only has one skill with elementals, normal attack which only has one combo moves and some ult. Not to mention switching characters sucks, it might be fine on mobile because you can tap the other characters ult on phone, but I don't know why they thought it's ok for pc and consoles too
Multiplayer is fun for dicking around with friends, doing dungeon with friend sucks because the dungoeon is simplistic, other players cannot open chests in the open world and can't even talk to npc to shop or progress the story
Overall I find it pretty fun but too grindy and the gacha makes the gameplay system worse than it should be honestly. Felt like they could just release one time purchase game without gacha and we recruit characters by progressing the story or something like a suikoden, or god forbid, something like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 gacha. Multiplayer can easily be fixed but I don't think that's their main agenda for now, which makes me think why bother releasing the game with half baked multiplayer at all

I did that. Relaunching the game will freeze your game. Only way to unfreeze it is to put the folder back in.
I got a 5 Star on my first play, and on 4 rerolls I got Mona and am very happy with that.
It doesn't completely negate the resin timegate but you can get fragile resin from doing shit which restores 60
