Realistically, what does BotW2 have to do for you to like it more than the first game?

Bitch about BotW1 in this thread too if you want.

Be cancelled and Nintendo makes the original Zelda Wii U tech demo instead. Nothing in the style of Whiff of the Shit will ever please me.

Actual zelda dungeons

Can these even function properly in BotW's formula? I feel like if they were to go back to major dungeons it would force them to just go back to the old formula.

dungeons and a bigger story focused on the present. I didn't like the "searching for memories" shit from BotW.

Also, give Zelda her long hair back. Short hair on girls is not good. Also, give her Videl's pigtails.

Actual dungeons, fewer Korok seeds, the ability to co-op with Zelda and Zelda serving as an emotive NPC during single-player (ie cuddling with Link around a fire, pointing out and commenting on interesting areas, helping reach inaccessible areas), and seeing gay Ganondorf with quest decisions influencing whether he helps fight against or re-absorbs Calamity Gabon at the end game.

>Divine Beasts except scattered on the overworld and not shown to you from the start
Yeah.

Add more depth to combat
Real dungeons
More enemy variety
More shield surfing mini games

Proper dungeons like hyrule castle
A way to repair or increase durability
A way to choose what special effect I want or preferably can long throw
Have side quests give more meaningful stuff outside of rupees and junk
Flesh out the characters more. Especially the Rito area.
More Enemy variety and attacks for them
Find a way to balance things so you can't just eat to win
Proper hard mode with bigger changes

Beyond that? Gimmie botw 2 already

The only thing they won't be able to do is item progression based on past dungeons completed, other than that regular dungeons would be fine. Zig Forums would probably complain about level scaling though.

Yes, just mix the physics puzzles with traditional dungeons. What's the problem?

The Divine Beasts were fairly traditional as they were.

Would you be fine if they did the map like rdr2? Introduce new part of map and keep the old one.

I wish the whole game would be more structured like the Great Plateau in BotW. More purposeful, less ad-hoc.

-More enemy variety
-More actual dungeons. I’m fine with keeping shrines around somehow. the divine beasts were ok but they all looked identical with just a focus on a specific type of physics puzzle. The only enemies around to be a threat are they shitty bubbles.
-Better Bosses. LoZ has a fuckload of iconic bosses and the Blight Ganons were ugly faggots that looked like a mishmash of ruins and sludge.

Traditional dungeons relied on items, which goes against BoTW's design

No they really weren't

Yeah... Yeah, they were. You were hard gated by solving specific puzzles that, in most cases, had specific solutions. That's a Zelda dungeon.

actual canon romance pls between link/zelda, not >implying

Health/Stamina improvements are done in a different way
Shrine count is below 50, all the good ideas are just funneled to make them slightly longer.

Keep weapon durability, but movesets for every weapon type needs to be like tripled combined with way more weapon types. The idea you disarm and constantly swap weapons is good, but the weapons in BOTW are not fun to use and it just ends up being annoying when you fight a health sponge and your good stuff breaks

Renting items from ALBW solves that entirely.

Have an entire underworld that functions like hyrule castle. Just one giant dungeon. Link is trapped down there and Zelda explores the overworld. You can freely switch between them like GTA, when you come back to them they’d be in the middle of something even combat. Speaking of combat, keep weapon degradation as it is but make it so you can’t switch weapons during combat, just use, throw, and pick up ones on the ground. Also no eating during combat though potion drinking would be fine, as long as it’s mapped to a button instead of pausing the action and scrolling through a list.

>MUH DUNGEONS
I'm so glad Nintendo is going to ignore all of you faggots.

>Moar and bigger towns
>Crafting and/or leveling systems
>Party/companion system
>At least 6 proper classic style dungeons
>More classic Zelda items and systems, like the magic meter, a magical instrument, hookshot, lens of truth, etc
>Playable Zelda, who we can customize and do cute things with
>Perhaps co-op
If even half of these make it in, it's an automatic 10/10 for me.

It needs to be on PC.

But now we must critically support Hyrule warriors against chink shit.

id be happy with more of the same. i liked the isolated exploration.

>first and only teaser is, literally, a dungeon
I'm sure you'll find a way to be amused at nothing regardless, if other retards I've seen are anything to go by.

They should put item checks throughout the overworld so that you might get a new ability then backtrack all the way over the map to use it. There should be a shop hidden under a wall that didn't even look like you could bomb it that has a unique item that's essential for obtaining an optional but major upgrade to your character. Bigger mountains so skydiving to a destination is a thing. Get rid of the dumb glider.

Hyrule Castle was a dungeon in BotW but you morons think it wasn't because doors didn't magically close to force you to do a dumb puzzle for 2 year olds to open it again.

I don't know if even you know what you're trying to argue anymore.

Be an actual Zelda game with dungeons. The BoTw dungeons didnt feel like dungeons at all and bosses seemed so underwhelming.
Hated also unlocking your key abilities right from the get go. I know its supposed to be an open world game but I felt no real sense of progression other than go to this point and perform this action then do the same thing 300 more times.

>they should abandon their new highly successful and praised approach and go back to stale formula people were tired of
this is why Zig Forums could never make a game
