Not even close gameplay wise. The only good story in the game is the AM route. The rest of the storys are worse than Fates because the Slithers are the worst thing this series has ever produced.

In story I still prefer 4 and 5. And Radiant Dawn had the best gameplay.

Story... are you high? It's absolutely terrible because everyone acts irrationally and then OOPS you're Jesus but also maybe the anti-christ, and the whole thing split into 4 paths seemingly at random (why is the real final boss behind Golden Deer which doesn't give a shit?)

Is it the real final boss when he appears only once with no lead in and nothing really hinting at it at all? It is more like it was pulled out of its ass. Path of Radiance is probably the best "well rounded" game is that's what you're getting at.

well some maps are bad, but overall is pretty good but i feel radiant's dawn maps are way better
story wise path of radiance is the best one, period

Story...hmmm yeah?, I mean the Church/Edelgard route could have been done much better, also the dubstep moles were dealt with too easily, I personally still prefer genealogy of the holy war

Gameplay is dogshit. FE games designed around grinding to optimize skills and classes are dogshit. The emphasis aren't the maps anymore, but the micromanagement of your units. It's boring and tedious, and the monestary is one of the worst additions to the series.
