I had trippy shot so it made it nifty for pulling enemies into the stun fog. I didn't need to worry too much about dodge with Athena's dash either. I just liked that fact I could pull enemies straight into an uppercut and combo.

The spear's damage in general is kinda shitty even with big boosts (and if you're focusing more on the spear itself, Hades Aspect might be better). Achilles is more of a cast-spear. Achilles+Zeus Cast is broken as fuck, though other casts aren't too bad either.
Like the other user said, yep, it's EM3. Just be warned that even after you beat EM3 Theseus, Poseidon might not immediately recognize that you've done it and fulfill the prophecy. You don't need to talk to Poseidon in the same run after beating EM3 Theseus, you can talk to him later, it's just that it's typical RNG for the appropriate acknowledgement dialogue to come up.

Not particularly proud of this run but I finally did it, 25 attempts and 20 hours in. Great game, easily gonna put another 20 hours into it.
Actually got a little emotional when I was sent back, because it happened to also be my first time hearing Orpheus sing after I gave him Eurydice's song.

Yeah it effects casts. As soon as you finish the rush, your next 4 attacks/casts are empowered. You can test it out with Skelly if you want, just compare the damage your cast does before the rush and after. Just keep in mind you can't refresh the buff, so you have to use it all up first before you can gain another 4 charges.
