The levels feel much less solidly generated than in the first. I find myself getting skeletons and moles dropped on me from offscreen and constantly coming across segments in the caves that are impossible to get past without wasting a rope due to arrow traps. It's also incredible how after 3 iterations of the game, Derek hasn't come up with a system to replace his antiquated, amateur indie-dev item pick-up system.

Overall, really enjoying it.

Destroy the levitation modules underneath him. Sticky bombs are the easiest way for this, but you can also whip them.

The Udjat Eye is used to easily open the paths leading to the world 2 secret areas, where you are aiming to claim the royal crowns in those areas.

If you go to the Jungle, on 2-2 to 2-4 the Eye will start to beep at you like a radar, the closer you get to the entrance to the Black Market. The Hedjet (Egyptian crown) is available there for 40k gold, along with tons of other stuff to buy. Beware of stealing though, because there are tons of triggerhappy shopkeeps here, including Yang. You don't strictly NEED the Eye to find the entrance though, it just makes it obvious.

If you go to the Volcana, on 2-2 to 2-4 you'll find a drill at the top. The Eye is consumed and slots into the control center to drill all the way to the bottom of the level, where you'll find the red brick entrance to Vlad's Castle, where Vlad and his clan of vampires guard the Crown (European crown). Capes are easy to get here, and Vlad has a unique cape with a double jump and doubles blood particles enemies drop. You don't need the drill to get here either, you can bomb your way to the bottom, but it's very far.

You'll need the Crown or Hedjet (either one, doesn't matter which), in the world 4 areas, Tide Pools or Temple.
