Great music, decent story, shit fucking gameplay. It's a walking simulator.

It has some nice porn. And that's about it.

I thought the opening few hours were brilliant. It gets boring and mundane shortly after and it just kinda ends when it gets interesting again. I found the main cast to be largely unlikable with May being one of the most unpleasant characters I've ever played in a game. I've heard people say that it's better if you can relate to her, but honestly if you relate to May you're either an anxiety ridden wreck of a person, or you're a narcissistic prick.

I didn't mind the band sections but there's like 4 of them in the game. I liked the OST.

Poor last act to already weak story, protagonist has terrible personality, music is pretty good and art is okay.

However while this is well-known to most people here, on twitter and in the indie-dev scene they tend to believe her every word despite a lot of evidence to the contrary. Unfotunately going into more detail would mean I'd have to open the gaymergate can of worms again and you really don't want to go down that rabbit-hole, at this point it's not worth it. Just know that Z Quinn is a pathological liar and you'll be good.

I only related to her as far as the clueless social blunders aspect went. Though they did dial it back a bit when it comes to character route endings. Doesn't make their actual cringe any more bearable though.

It did, but I felt it at least fit in the context of stuff being said by a character with actual ADHD behavioral problems. There's a lot of moaning by certain characters about capitalism and how terrible their bosses are, then they don't bother to do their jobs and start breaking company property. It's why I can't take the criticism that NITW is pro-communism seriously. The story is more pro-entropy, that sometimes life is shit and will stay shit. I didn't like the ending because in a way it betrays what is has been establishing; Possum Springs will die and fade away and that's natural. The villians were the group artificially prolonging the town, and only driving it deeper into despair.

Mae and Greg are cunts, Bea deserves better friends.

Beatrice was the most realistic and best character by far.

Nice visual and music, dialogue is kinda cringe and the story was OK until the last 3/4 of the game. The cult of boomers shit came out of nowhere and at the end nothing got resolved.
