That was the most boring dungeon in wrath.
Your party just stands in the alcove and waits for the mobs to group up and run to you to be aoe'd down.
It took too long, was too easy, and people still somehow managed to wipe to it.

Disagree.

Was easy as fuck to heal as a shaman. I remember running that shit all the fucking time for tokens

oculus wasn't even hard, with the easiest last boss in existence
to bad mouth-breathers get filtered by an additional dimension of movement

the oculus was the fastest dungeon to do but brainlets didn't realize it

billions even...

Make room for the peak-kino raid that trully filtered billions, even to this day

The dungeon version was awful because people were so bad at jousting, if they weren't then it would be a super fast dungeon to run.

>want to re experience classic wow, before the times of the evil empire known as activision
>game is full of autists and try hards, to put it lightly
>brutal time sink of a game
>nothing is new or exciting. everything is familiar, yet tired and old, like visiting and very old grand parent who doesn't have much time left
>the problems that plague modern WoW have transferred over to classic, nobody wants to communicate, nobody wants to be friends

its just not the same.

>be tank
>get oculus
>complete it in less than 15 minutes
I really dont get why dpscucks willingly reset their 45 minute queue to avoid the fastest dungeon in wrath.

It's so fucking easy though. My God use the fucking time stop on him when he enrages and you win.

How did Ulduar manage to make mounted combat fun but TOTC was so fucking bad?

>have to slowly explain to the class of Wrathbabies what each color drake does
>Everyone fucks up the last fight anyways
good times

>want to replay a game and it's not new
Jeez I wonder why you had such a bad time
The game will never be new, but you also have to specifically and actively look for a social guild, not just rely on whoever is in LFG at the time

Ulduar didn't have mounted combat it had vehicle combat. Also we did 25 man 4 tower Leviathan around the third week. It was pretty boring to be honest

TOTC mounted combat was literally "always maintain 3 stacks of shield, use shield breaker until they don't have shields anymore then charge for massive damage". That being said, I don't remember Ulduar vehicle combat being fun either. Siege engines did fuck all, catapults had a weak attack and a strong attack and motorcycles went around collecting ammo for the catapults IIRC. None of that was particularily fun or engaging, vehicle stuff was boring, even if it was a new mechanic for WotLK.

>Ulduar didn't have mounted combat it had vehicle combat
What is the difference?

>>the problems that plague modern WoW have transferred over to classic, nobody wants to communicate, nobody wants to be friends
Welcome to sharding.

Hilarious how many dpstards would rather sit in another hour long queue than fucking read and figure out how to do the easiest dungeon in the whole game.

>Oh, yeah, this dungeon exists
nobody even bothered with this shit anymore once Wrath was announced.

>time travel dungeons

Nope
I'm gonna be honest with you
anyone who didnt play during the golden trifecta... seriously missed out on something extremely unique and magical. we were living in a seperate world from this one, staying up until 5 AM reading the WoW Wiki, chilling with a guild full of great people, finally getting that first Karazhan clear, servers had reputation and everyone bowed to Nihilum. Everysingle day for a long time it was completely understandable to NEVER want to log out, the addiction was real and mainstream, Mr T and other celebs doing WoW commercials? that's still a fuckin surreal thing to me.

Why do you think the holdouts are so desperate to go back?

>it's a "daily heroic is over in 2 minutes because the hunter/warlock pet pulls the final boss through the gate" episode
dog bless private servers with broken pathing

>painstakingly trying to explain the exponential math behind 4 constant beams on the target
haha shock lance go brrrr!

yeah, so great for farming, it was almost like a free pass

I don't know if all the private server pulls are blizzlike (e.g. you can usually fly through the inner circle on a drake and pull all 4 packs at once) and the drakes tend not to work quite like they did in retail (e.g. on some servers beams from bronze drakes stack, so you can go for 4 bronze drakes, one emerald, and one-phase the boss) but even if we assume you could do none of that, it's like 8 minutes rather than 5 and still one of the fastest Wrath dungeons, probably the second fastest after Gundrak.

But yes, I remember when in retail people would keep getting lost and pulling the fucking trash on their fucking drakes.

>people still somehow managed to wipe to it
Well, it's the one dungeon where there's nonzero kill threat. In Old Kingdom, say, even the 90% max health nuke from Spell Flingers isn't threatening even if you don't interrupt it or use cooldowns or kill them before they finish the cast (which is what you do pretty much by default with some gear), because everything else is so trivial they can't kill the tank from 20% health (after magic damage mitigation) anyway.

Conversely, in Halls of Reflection, if you have a tank with minimum gear required to queue, enraged footmans etc. could plausibly kill you. You do have a lot of tools to deal with that kind of stuff (from abundant stuns to personal and external cooldowns, like a ret throwing single sac on the tank) and they're not tough mobs in the sense that you'll probably survive even if you do nothing out of the dozen things everyone in the party could be doing (in contrast to mobs like Bonechewer Raveners in heroic Ramparts pre-nerf that would just global the tank under similar circumstances), but most randoms just faceroll. I don't think I've ever failed HoR because even as DPS I'd single target the tough mobs even if my class could do literally nothing else, but I can see the points where scrubs tend to fail.

>Blizzard delayed Shadowlands
>Last time they did this it was BC
Fuck bros i haven't even played since WoD but this gives good vibes. I'm interested

TBC
>delayed because the original team was polishing it up
>Sneedolands
>delayed because they need to fix all the gamebreaking error caused by pajeet and tranny coding errors

Attached: 1583471140096.jpg (800x707, 43.43K)

True that. I just appreciate they're actually listening to their community on absolutely anything for the first time in years

Wrong sweeties

Attached: loadsunkentemple.jpg (1002x668, 362.86K)

Wrath was such a goddamn terrible expansion.

>they're actually listening to their community
lmao we really just gonna look past the millions of things they're ignoring us on, eh?

i wish it was gamebreaking errors stopping it from releasing. the balance is the worst its ever been.

Its delayed because the game is literally a broken mess.
Beta testers have made it very clear that Shadowlands is at least half a year from being ready to launch.

it was delayed not because of errors or polish but because the game is structurally and conceptually broken thanks to covenants.

but my virtual boyfriend was there!
dont you love arthas every 5 quests?
you should fap to him too
