Wtf? This game IS FUCKING GREAT! Holy shit. What happened? Level design is samey but characters, combat and art direction is on point. This is a classy, top notch action game overflowing with personality. Are you people looking forward to Virgin being included?

>fertile hatefucking powerful motivated chad.
what did he mean by this

I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll do with the franchise. Apparently it will focus on Nero.

I just wish Nero didn't cut his hair and Vergil didn't look so bogged.

I think they made his hair way too high, giving him that weird cockatoo style. Should have been slicker like in previous games.

but user, he looks perfect

It really is mostly the hair. It made him look more cartoony, even though he was anime as fuck in the previous games.

I found devil may cry 5 boring to be honest and thought the areas felt empty.
Also didn't like that dante looks like an old paedophile.
Looked great though.
Much preferred devil may cry 3.
If they changeva few things devil may cry 6 could be great.

I'd go gay for him in DMC4SE. He looks like a fucking super model. Pefectly sculpted nose.

After 1 month of not shaving that's the only beard Dante can grow?

An imbalanced diet is bad for your hair growth.

The path is clear for us to rule

>Level design is samey
Honestly my only gripe with this game. The last environment proves that the game can handle bright environments.

Mall Santa Uncle Dante when

already played vergil since almost day 1 on pc
he makes the game too easy

Could a more open DMC game work. I mean keep the combat as is but if they ditched the level chapters for RE classic style environments would you still be interested.

I loved that game's story and the character arcs. It's a shame everything else was horrible.

From what I've seen the mod barely works. His moves are very limited.

>walk down grey tree hallway
>smash triangle
>repeat the whole game

i miss old dmc

>Level design is samey
Only visually (and only for some levels). Gameplay-wise it's actually outstanding for the genre.
>not a single awkward location
>diiferent levels play differently
>platforming never overstays its welcome as a breather
>genuine branching paths and non-linearity

DMC5 has great levels.

>i miss old dmc
>walk down grey castle hall
>smash circle
>repeat the whole game

unless its the underwater section

Where are the branching paths and non linearity outside of mission 12?

>genuine branching paths and non-linearity
Not many levels have that, I can only think of 2 really.

>I loved that game's story and the character arcs. It's a shame everything else was horrible.
You sound like me from Bizarro Universe.
I wouldn't say I "loved" anything about DmC per se, but I enjoyed quite a few things.
That being said, the story and the characters were the absolute utter shit.

something similar to NuGoW with visible style points

>His moves are very limited.
you saw it wrong

Describing his perfect partner

Mission 14 and mission 4.

I mean I kinda get what you're saying with mission 14 but isn't mission 4 totally straightforward?
Are you talking about that one wall you can break?

I started the series with 4. I really enjoyed Nero and how he played, but Dante was pretty much unplayable for me so I stopped as soon as I got to his part. is it really worth it to go back or is it really just a series for combo autism?

I think Dante had an actual character instead of being just a Marvel quip character. He learned to be a hero, to care and rise against the evil in the world he lived in. The idea of the demons running the world from the shadows was great. Vergil's selfish reasons and egomania being carefully developed until his downfall into hate for his brother at the end of the game was great. The problem to me is everything else. The dialogue is awful and teenage edgy crap, the game looks like radioactive vomit with greens and reds all over the top, several moments that are just way too bad, etc. If it was less edgy and in-your-face and had good art direction and writing it would have been pretty interesting 'cause the character arcs and development were all there.

There are 2 walls you can break there. But for the most part, yeah. Mission 4 is pretty linear.

Missions are too ingrained into the series they’re important for rankings and replayability

Of course, not all levels like that but the ones that did do that had left a strong impression on me.
Mission 3
>several ways of traversing the "river" section
Mission 12
>several ways of going through the blood puzzle
Mission 15
>two completely different paths through the mission
Are the biggest examples I can remember. There are also a few minor things you can do here and there. I believe Mission 5 has a few paths through it, fights in Mission 14 become really different depending on the order you're doing them in, etc.

Combo autism only speaks if you want to play on anything harder than normal or perhaps hard. On hard you gotta pay more attention to enemy attacks and movement but not necessarily become a combo master.

Dante in DMC5 is fun as fuck. Cavaliere and the gloves and boots, I forgot what it was called, are just terrific. If making a few combos and switching weapons amidst them isn't your thing then the entire series is not for you, but if you're talking about true combo autism of the YouTube compilation kind then don't worry. That only becomes an issue on the higher difficulties.

Cope and seethe. Your game was shit and only a handful of samefags on Zig Forums even care about this awful weeb pandering bastardization of the DMC franchise.

Play DMC3 then you’ll understand how to play Dante and not feel overwhelmed

If you max out Swordmaster as soon as you get Dante (you should have more than enough Proud Orbs for that), he'll be plenty fun casually.

4 is infamous for Dante's copy pasted levels and Dante being overall not beginner friendly and feeling weak because the game was rushed so take that however you will.
And combo autism is just a bonus for people who love the games and want to spice up the game on the 50th play.

It's a series for combo autism. The enemies have been punching bags since 4, and 5 is a literal button masher with flat levels. A true 3D beat em up with tons of continues. You should have started at the beginning. 1 and 3 are the only entries true to the original vision of the series. Even DmC has better level design and story than 5, and it was about a Futurama slurm factory for demons.

Attached: the_duality_of_anon.png (362x206, 78.72K)

>openly drinking slurm
>learns it's poison
>2 seconds later
>LMAO YOU DRINK THAT STUFF?
he's an idiot and so are you

More like, he has 4 stances and I feel like I'm missing out just using two of them at any given moment. I mostly used Swordmaster with a bit of Trickster and it made me feel like I'm not doing it right.

I found it to be mediocre until the game forced me to use the mage faggot two stages in the row.
Then I found the uninstall.exe and never looked back.

Then why are you looking in this thread

I'd like to see a DMC spin-off game in the style of Hades. Nico and Nero doing jobs for the company and slaying demons, getting paid, new gear and skills, etc. I honestly think Capcom is leaving money on the table when it comes to this series.

Dante is a lot more approachable in 5.

Thats the mobile port of DMC4. Personally I want to see a DMC themed game in the genre of slay the spire

SACO DE MIERDA

>DmC
>better story than anything

Capcom really working hard on their advertising

I'll eventually run out of better games and consider playing this.

I still can't unsee 5 Nero as white haired Donte.
