Brawler girls are woefully underrepresented in fanart compared to their cousins, fighting game girls. Sometimes you get lucky and they get put in a fighting game though, then comes the deluge in fanart.

That was post-patch but I got S Rank 500k+ on Arcade Mania way before the patch so my balls are big.

Have strong fundamentals. Understand enemy abilities and how to line up a batch together, prioritise more dangerous enemies. Generally speaking you want to keep enemies on one side of the screen, so for example throw two enemies to the side with the more enemies. Gi gud with the juggle combo system, it will become more natural to you the more you play, but you can also look up combo videos on youtube and practice them in boss rush. Understand the enemy spawning in a level and where they'll be coming from so you can plan in advance, this game is all about forward planning and knowing how future enemies will approach so you can be prepared while dealing with enemies you're currently dealing with. Obviously use your i-frames appropriately (jumping, throwing, specials and star specials), save your star specials for the moments with loads of fuckers of course. Hope this helps!

nah you can still take hits, just don't take them in the middle of huge combos.
S-Ranking is just about getting high enough points on each stage. Really not that difficult.
Try it on Stage 7, unironically one of the easiest to S-Rank.
