There are two Klonoa prototypes owned by two Reddit users.
A Klonoa 2: Dream Champ Tournament prototype cartdrige owned by an user named "ImDerpyHooves," depicted here: twitter.com/klollection/status/1229540650846044162 He refused to release it writing this: >Partially because I spent $400 on this over 10 years ago and because I never pirated/released any roms online. As it is now, the cart is a priceless treasure to me and my Klonoa collection. If released it will just become another number on a huge roms list and no longer special. I have made many scans of manuals, discs and magazine articles pertaining Klonoa and placed them on my Flickr for sharing and they get lots of traffic from viewers. twitter.com/dada78641/status/1228778066903695365
And then there is a debug beta of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile that still works. reddit.com/r/Klonoa/comments/f1me7i/klonoa_debug_prototype_disc/ The user never released it and never answered any comments regarding a possible release. He posted something unrelated to Klona two days ago.
reminder that if you are even remotely sympathetic to these cuckolds you should probably kill yourself if you didnt want to release it, don't attention whore
>if you didnt want to release it, don't attention whore Speaking of which...
Mike Mika (studio head of Digital Eclipse and friend of Frank Cifaldi) has found a bunch of Tengen floppies, that included source code for the Sega Genesis conversions of Ms. Pac-Man and Hard Drivin'. twitter.com/MikeJMika/status/1273644318570369024
>Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete source code lost forever? Not anymore. Found source, tools and assets on my old HD. #HOMM3 #Heroes3 twitter.com/DiskBlitz/status/920801845349466113 >No HOMM2 source. I did the Mac versions of HOMM3 and HOMM3C only. I've made multiple copies of the source, but can't release it without ok. twitter.com/DiskBlitz/status/920803185828159490
>Mike Mika (studio head of Digital Eclipse and friend of Frank Cifaldi) has found a bunch of Tengen floppies, that included source code for the Sega Genesis conversions of Ms. Pac-Man and Hard Drivin'. who the fuck cares, exodus has a debugger if you want it so bad
Leo Murphy
I have a couple of unreleased prototype games that were canned. Well only 2, actually.
Some of us don't want to release this because it feels special knowing that only *I* can play it, or only *I* own it.
I get the argument that I would only officially own the ORIGINAL, but you wouldn't understand unless you were also in our shoes. The feeling that you have the right to something, or the right to play something that no one in the entire world can play is a great feeling for collectors.
Owning these things are basically the holy grail of video games.

guy in op didn't even keept he disc retard, he turned in it to blizzard for a gift card and the opportunity to spend more of his money on blizzard products.
Caleb Richardson
Who cares?
How does this personally affect you? Would releasing the source code to starcraft change YOUR life?
You would probably not give a shit, move on and do something else.
Christian Thomas
you have the original, no one can take that away from you. Software can be replicated, unlike physical objects. You're not indiana jones or whatever, youre just selfish and retarded, fuck off
Retard confirms he doesnt even understand what he has, he just likes to "have things"
you are the ultimate consoomer. Kill yourself
Austin Rivera
I mean, you're not wrong. I am selfish and those who aren't releasing source codes or roms of games unreleased are probably selfish too. But that's the whole point.
Right now you're upset, you're jealous, and you're frustrated that there are people like us that exist. That we own something you can never touch or play. Your only response is to hide behind a monitor and keyboard and call us names.
So as I told the other person above me, who cares?
Dominic Evans
Go suck multiple penises you worthless fuck unless you can get sued for releasing stuff you have no reason to be such a faggot. Like I said earlier, if you have no plans for releasing then don't attention whore. I hope your house burns down and that stuff is lost forever you cuck.
Why not wish that I died and someone else was able to take my games and release the source code? Surely that would be a more ideal situation for you, right?
If my house burned down and my stuff is lost forever, that means you won't ever get a chance to see or play those games, too.
Ethan Howard
That's the problem with reddit, look how many words the second guy is using just to say "you're a retard for not archiving a priceless prototype".
Charles Walker
We dont have them right now, if you died with your hoarders trophies it would make no difference, except that a piece of shit retard like you would be dead
Jordan Gray
>How does this personally affect you? I could play expanded versions of my most favorite PC game, and even make mods for it myself. Of course a consoomer like yourself can't conceive of such things.
Aaron Adams
It's a pity, because debug builds are the best for reverse engineering purposes.
Aaron Reyes
I want your stuff to burn to prove a point. That by not uploading something to an archive of some sort so that it could be studied and safe, it instead burns away forever, wasted.
Jace Morris
Would you honestly play that for more than maybe a few days, a week at most? After the novelty wears off, you'd forget about the game again for years.
I'm sorry you feel that way.
Aaron Gutierrez
You wouldn't be proving any point, other than the fact that you'd never get the chance to play something ever again.
If my house burned down and I lost the original, would I be sad? Sure. But it's not like I can go around and sell a source code or prototype for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
So if it burns away and is lost forever, it would affect you guys more than it would me.
Christian Gutierrez
dont forget the kingdom hearts guy that thought he had some exclusive shit
