Neutral B - Plasma Pistol - Rapid fire it like Fox until it overheats or charge it for a bolt that does extra damage or instantly breaks an opponents shield if they have it up when it hits

Side B - Spartan Laser - Chief sits in place and charges up his laser (like Snake’s missile launcher) you can adjust the angle of it up or down

Up B - Sword Lunge - works kinda like Marth/Lucina’s Up B. If there is an enemy within range of Chief the lunge will home in on them

Down B - Pull out a random frag or Plasma grenade they work like they do in game, Frags need to hit a surface first and then explode like a second later, Plasma sticks to whatever it touches then explodes

Still the character being represented on a Nintendo console, which requires approval by both companies. Nintendo wouldn't be able to add a Kratos costume to the Switch version without Sony's approval.

Not OP, and at this point I wouldn't say he guaranteed, but we now have two MS reps, Steve only came with Minecraft costumes and no other Xbox related costumes. Unless you think that a company won't get two reps per pass, he chances have arguably increased.

I think it's between him and Doomguy now to be completely honest. With Travis dead and the fact that the whole acquisition happened just recently so Nintendo would be working with Bethesda/iD and not Microsoft for a third character in the timeframe, I think it seems likely that we'll get one. I can't really decide between them though, what do anons think?

Id prefer Doomguy but Chief is the likeliest of the two. He is the face of Xbox and the biggest video game icon not in Smash at the moment. Plus he'd be easier to represent in Smash as Halo is not as violent as Doom and has more cartoony weapons.

I think the best we can hope for is the Mark V armor since it's Chief's second most iconic armor. I imagine his base will be Halo Infinite's armor. I doubt we'll get different characters completely for Chief. Though it would be cool.

I think as previous user said it might be a Simon and Richter situation. Master Chief and Doom guy could play out as echoes with Doom Guy being the heavy damage dealer and Chief having more multi hit combo centric.

It's highly unlikely if not outright impossible we'll be seeing an echo fighter as DLC. It's even less likely that Doomguy and Chief would be based on the same character given the difference in their arsenals and abilities. Not to mention if Doomguy was in it would be before the buy out and neither would approve of one of their characters being an echo fighter.
