Except the majority of the base maps are garbage, the graphics are bad too, the BR mode took away sorely needed dev time away from the base game and it wasn't even free, they started turning it around with the Pacific War updates but shat the bed with balance changes nobody wanted and Japan was defense only.

its plagued with tons of issues, several of the progression choices are not side-grades but instead straight upgrades that make the vehicle or weapon useless without them but amazing with them, For example the bomber plane gets considerably higher tonnage bombs as an upgrade and its incredibly difficult to land even a single kill with the stock ones.
Also why do almost all the machine guns and rifles suck so bad? Its basically a MG42 and G43.

It's pretty bad. I've played about 10 hours and I think only 1 1/2 was actually enjoyable. If this is the way BF is going then there is no saving this series.

Dude me and my friend spent the entire time as defense building every wall, trench, and fortification you could on the map that has the big hangar.
A SINGLE church-hill just psychically ran almost all over it over and it instantly broke, so its basically pointless.

The way they were handling BFV makes me think they actually wanted it to bomb, they were barely even trying to fix shit that the community was screaming about (and instead opted for BR and a bunch of weird balancing that just broke the entire game)
there is still no way to switch teams, there is no auto-balance, hackers are everywhere
the final update brought the game to the stage it should've been at when it released, and then they pulled the support
