As you said, there's nothing to discuss. The last time Sega went all-out on a Sonic game was Unleashed, 12 years ago. Many of the staff from that game, artists, musicians, and level designers, have left Sega. Sonic no longer has an actual team. Most Sonic fans don't even like any Sonic content from the past ten years other than Mania and Gens mods/fangames.
