Since Matt Walker implied they have more weapons and moves they haven't showed off for Vergil yet, post your gameplay wishes for DMC5SE Vergil.
>Doppelganger replaces swords while active and controls like a V summon >Urizen moveset that functions as Beowulf replacement, has lunar phase, rising sun, starfall etc >Vergil uses a Melee Summoned Sword as a replacement for Force Edge.
I'd rather them do something completely original in terms of weapons. What you wrote looks more like a reskin. That said I just hope they don't get lazy with the final boss and give us proper dante and nero battles.

>Vergil uses a Melee Summoned Sword as a replacement for Force Edge. I like it.
I forgot he did that in 4SE. Summoned FE would be cool if it was like a timed mode you could only use at max concentration.
I think Beowulf's moveset would look silly on 5 Vergil though. Him having a fist moveset is tradition from DMC1 but I'd prefer it if they gave him new animations and mechanics that made it feel fresher.

Vergil is coming to PC.

Not as a boss fight for sure but it would be great if they decided to fuck any continuity and give him Nevan to use.

The times leading up to and around DmC release were amazing >tfw tameme shaved his head and changed his name because of this shitpile
Jace Barnes
>Literally admits he can't get a SSS rank in combat in 3 even on fucking Easy >Somehow that makes it worse than DmC
>Load of moves for Yamato, maybe even surpassing Red Queen and DSD >More shit for Summon Swords, some theorize that concentration makes them bigger and stronger >Doppelganger will either follow your moves and attacks or you can input Yamato moves for maximum carnage >V's cane as a weapon, shoots out shadow or griffon at the end of combos >Urizen form for gauntlet replacement >V's screen wipe as SSSS move
This would be fine for me.

>Urgh, electric guitar that shoots bats is so lame. I much prefer my Hulk Hands instead!
>Broadsword and gauntlets return, BUT they have unique movesets to freshen things up >Gauntlets get sweeping, agile attacks, maybe based after Kung Fu or some other new martial art just don't reuse the Beowulf/Gilgamesh moveset for the third game in a row >Greatsword is HUEG and has a heavy, crushing moveset, essentially being his counterpart to Cavaliere >V is a nuke activated by holding L1 at max Motivation >Weapon swap is R2 only, Doppleganger activated by tapping L2 >JCE is still Y+B and can be activated at will but has to be charged for greater range and power, max charge is tied to the Motivation meter. You're vulnerable while charging. >D-pad still free for new stuff, maybe Styles but something unique is also welcome. If it is Styles it should remain distinct from Dante; don't just staple on Royalguard or reuse his DSD SM moves.
I think style builds easier on lower difficulties, but I could be wrong. My point still stands that the critic thinks that because DmC is easier than 3, it automatically makes it a better game.

i remember some lore about demons being able to revert back to their original forms even after becoming devil arms. also >tfw your dad's old cumsleeve tries to kill you and turns into a guitar
Nolan Anderson
I think killing enemies still nets you a fair bit of style as long as you're switching up moves. Literally the only way to never hit S in combat is to just only button mash the basic combos or pistol spam, while eating every attack.
>Dante's ultimate nuke is him fully embracing his demon form >Vergil's has him accept his humanity its pottery

>Isn't it technically harder to style on low difficulty since enemies die so fast? Yes. That is why people complained about Vergil being too OP in 4SE because he kills way too fucking fast even in DMD
