You know damn well if their PS2 or Wii era engine and hardware could have pulled that level of spectacle they'd have had the large EDs destroying cities from the beginning. Think of what they were TRYING to do with the last stand phases against Mohran and Lao-Shan, for example.

I hadn't played since the Safi'Jiva update but I enjoyed fighting the Fatalis more than the one fight I did against Kulve and the 2 against Alatreon you need to do.
Alatreon might not be to bad but I'm a hammer user and don't want to use elements or play online.
Fatalis was a good fight though, among my favourite in world.

speaking of Jhen Mohran, I think it'd be a waste if MH Rise didn't include him since they could make the players use the wirebugs to jump from the boat to Jhen's back directly, instead of waiting for it to come close

so i just beat him with 2 minutes and 2 carts to spare, there are a couple of attacks that i personally think are just horse shit, fuck the slide and bite attack because it makes his entire body an active hitbox and it just comes outta nowehere when hes on all fours and ESPECIALLY fuck his flamethrower attack that he uses when youre underneath him, literally do not have enough time to sheath and dive before he roasts my ass to death not to mention the fact that you cannot see his face when you spend the majority of the fight underneath his cock.
