maybe instead of learning arcane runes you should learn how to make a proper graph

none im reading konbini ningen

Do you really need to know 20,000 kanji to be considered good or is this just a meme graph?

Are there really 40.000 of these shits?
Lmao. If it's true, Chinese and all its bastard children should be jettisoned. God lord, what a shitshow.

yes not even the japanese themselves know all of the kanji

Just got to level 12 in wani kani.

Played SMT 1 and 2, gained a good load of vocab, kanji and figures of speech through it. Pokémon is made for kids and didn't even teach me as much as that.

Based. Don't let those reviews overwhelm you.

should I do the 2k or do the RTK first?

I've set my reviews to 25 item chunks. I find it helpful to not get overwhelmed.

can't you just puzzle them out? like the complicated ones are just made up of lesser kanji right? isn't that what language acquisition is anyway? what kind of retard rote memorizes fringe cases in case they're useful?

How do you even use anki? It feels just like brute forcing shit that doesnt make any sense. Also fucking Japanese has 3 alphabets. Might've just used the fucking English alphabet for katakana because fuck your fucking smiley faces.

i kneel

>kanjis
>kanjiS

Based. Have you started reading or watching jsub anime yet?

>40000 runes
>to say what other non-retarded languages can say with 20-30 symbols

Japanese is retarded and non-efficient everyone knows that but unfortunately they pump out high-demand media constantly so it can be worth knowing it for reading stuff in its non-pozzed state.

I've been reading and watching Japanese news.

Japanese student level is about 2k kanji
That said, largest dictionary lists something like 80k, largely obsolete.

>to expand your vocab?
Nothing I guess. Not to say I'm oh so very good I don't ever find any unknown words in what I'm playing but it's pretty scarce and it would be an extremely ineffective activity if the goal here was expanding vocab as opposed to just playing video game because I want to play video game. Game is Mary Skelter 2.

Nice. I'm on level 5 wani myself but I haven't made the leap yet cause I want a good base. Figure I'll begin to play some easy stuff when I hit level 10.

kanjitachi? kanjiganji?

not only that, but japanese has among the worst ratio of information to syllable count. This is why japanese is spoken very quickly and condenses so much when translated.

Make sure you're getting some grammar and listening study material too. Kanji makes a massive difference, but you still need fundamentals. Good luck on your journey.

Not even a native speaker knows that much.

Will do, thanks!

> ratio of information to syllable count
Ah yes, English is about 1 information per 2 syllables whereas Japanese is 1 information per 5. I forgot that unit of measure.

Learn Japanese

Porn games obviously.

Just a bunch of yojijukugos stringed together, this is the same as digging out a dictionary and finding the most obnoxious adjectives possible

Panel De Pon.

Reading through Higurashi. It's fun but god damn is it long. Probably going to clock 150 hours at least when I'm done with episode 8.
