>PC is cheaper in the long run than consoles
>My $3,000 gaming PC is better than your $300 console, money well spent
PC is cheaper in the long run than consoles
Well it is...
Cool, but can you do your course work and everything else on your console?
My PC is better than your console.
Just like how a sports car is better than a sedan.
All that can be done on a sub-$200 tablet or laptop.
Yes PC is better than consoles.
>Why would anyone buy a console, a $400 PC can out perform it and run 60fps 4K in all games
>Oh? you're getting bad framerates... heh, guess you should have bought a RTX WATERCOOLED 4090 for $2000 like I did...
Saying that PC is cheaper than consoles is like saying cooking at home is cheaper than eating out. It always annoys me because it should be "it has the potential to be cheaper if you know what you're doing". Too many people expect to just hop into shit by PCfagging or cooking and expect to just save them money without them having to put in much effort.
I can play every PC game ever made on my PC, as well as games from almost every console.
With your new console that costs $500 your choices of games is triple A trash that costs $60 and the waiting game.
PC generates the same salt as sports cars. Just get over it, its a luxury. If you can't afford it you know deep down you don't deserve it so it breeds envy and hatred. Pity is all you'll get from me.
>3000
600-700 will do for next gen, based on the past one
>b-but now they can have full models off camera
lol no.
I might be giving people too much credit. But I feel that making food at home is still cheaper for someone who doesn't know shit about cooking.
just pirate a pc retard
In the US at least even if you eat nothing but microwavable food you'll save a bunch compared to eating out
Inexperienced people will buy a bunch of shit they don't need or don't use. They'll do this their entire lives and never learn their lesson. It's a habit of wastefulness.
Pc is only cheaper if you are willing to pirate all your games.
PC is better because you aren't locked to a platform and can play whatever old games i want
masterrace fags that brag about how much they spend on hardware are just playing console ports anyway
Can your 300 console do things other than play video games and movies badly?
>hmmm a nice PC? Or a shitty laptop and a mediocre console with no games?
>HOW CAN I PICK????
I put my PC together over 5 years ago for about $1500
It has a GTX 970
It runs RDR2
This year I am putting a 3080 in it and buying a 1440p 144hz monitor for around $1000
I will be running 2k at 100+ FPS 144hz while you use daddy's TV to get upscaled 4k at 30fps with dips, so yes
>willing
>Flipendo just arrested two of the main Shitch hackers
I'm fairly positive emulation is the future away from this asscancer that is modern gaming.
$500 console against a $1500 PC with an RTX 3080 which outperforms consoles for the next 5 years. $1000 is the difference between getting 20 $70 PS5 games and 20 $20 PC games on sale from steam
>This year I am putting a 3080
No you wont because nobody is getting a 3080.
how is that related to what i posted?
OP is a consolecuck confirmed
Spending more than $1200 on a PC in current year is a waste of money.
Consoles don't do a whole lot besides vidya, while PCs can do just about anything. That money isn't just going towards vidya.
I don't understand the point about arguing about PC versus consoles when you already have a PC anyway.
I mean, you guys are POSTING from PCs, right? You obviously use it for other shit like working or going to school, watching videos, using social media, etc, right?
SURELY Zig Forums isn't full of people who play on consoles and post from their phones? Right? Haha...
Emulation isn't an option, it's pretty much one of the biggest draws.
Emulation, modding, piracy.
Imagine playing CP2077 before modders demuttified it whole.
It's in the mail already, chump
PC is cheaper because I pirate, I'm rich enough to buy a top of the line PC but poor enough to not buy cheap games on Steam. I know it doesn't make sense but it makes me win arguments online with random people on the internet which makes my purchase feel validated and it is the only thing that I have in my lonley and pathetic existence.
Yeah, shut up, kid!
Who are you quoting?
>gets all 3rd party games
>all xbox exclusives
>some PS exclusives (with Sony expressing interest to port more)
>emulates some Switch already
>emulates most 7th gen exclusives and previous generation emulation is nearly perfect
>has genres that are exclusive to it
>has actual backwards compatibility
>can do more than just game
>dont have to pay for my own internet
>modding is free and abundant
>still has active communities in older games
>huge player base
>multiple storefronts ensure the best of deals
>Steam actually has good download speeds, remote play, machine learning recommendations, reviews, communities, workshop, doesn't censor games like some pink haired fuck in Sony's San Franciso location does and more all for FREE
>DLSS 2.0 ensures GPUs will last longer than they ever have before
>raytracing is already BTFO on consoles
>4k gaming will be a breeze
>THE POWER OF THE SSD already debunked by gameplay videos
AHAHAHAHAHAH CONSOLE FAGGOTS
>Snoys cried so hard Sony had to pull back trailers to reassure them that their timed exclusive isnt coming to PC HAHAHAHAHAHA
>in b4 ITS PRICEY as he uses his $1000 phone
>ITS PRICEY as he spends $60 a year to use his own internet
>ITS PRICEY as he refuses to believe you can build a PC for less than $500
face it, this is a PC generation
>SHOW ME A PC AS CHEAP AND "POWERFUL" AS A CONSOLE
OK first you show me a console that has any of these features FAGGOTS
I've spent 500$ on my PC (which can run every single game up to now on ultra) and saved literal thousands of dollars on games, so yeah get fucked console cuck.
Yes, the biggest draw of pc gaming is piracy.
if you ignore everything here, sure
>if you are willing
why the fuck wouldn't I be willing to save thousands of dollars on games lmao
>console is cheaper
>while the games cost $60
